So awhile back I bricked my N3DS XL (USA) without a NAND backup. I have managed to save one of my 3dses with a emunand on the card but that had ARM9. I have a hard mod on my N3DS XL but again no nand backup.

Yeah I know a guy who has bricked a LOT of 3ds's within days or a couple weeks of having it and he just returns them to the store and getting a new one replaced by walmart. He just tells them it stopped working and they don't really question it.

Truthfully? No, not really. OP could claim it doesn't work. Nine times out of ten, they just check to see if it turns on. If not? They take the return.. This happens far too often.
