V6 allows the function to check for game updates without a console certificate but it cannot be used to download anything from the CDN anymore because all CDN downloads require the use of an edge token that must be regenerated every 24 hours. Doge still works like a charm,future update mean you have the update but you don't have the versionlist updated or isn't available.

Where can this be downloaded? I have checked on this forum with no luck! I presume it doesn't allow you to actually download the update but will let you know when new updates are out?

the latest commit of Switch Backup Manager allows you the get the latest update version available for your XCI and NSP (to be clear, not download it. just check the latest version number)
no binary available yet but if you can build it, it already works
