A question I've been wanting to ask around other gaming websites for a while now. Just wanna know how people like to watch game play videos online, wether it be looking at a walkthrough on how to beat a game, or watching someone play a game either you don't want to play or you just enjoy their commentary and reactions.

Preference is for no commentary, or maybe minimally functional to explain something that might be happening (though subtitles are fine there as well).

Will only watch let's plays if they are the only thing available for a given game when I am looking for more than a review, or happen to be super high quality graphics, and usually mute them.

Being a naturally compelling let's player is a bit like being a natural comedian, which is to say generally does not exist and any that are inherently funny have probably been doing it for 30 years.

It depends i guess, if i want to se how the game looks like, how it plays and the combat etc commentary could give you a clue what the player is experiencing, sometimes you just can't tell just by seeing. Just for the few first levels and i stop if i care about the game, before something gets spoiled for me. Unless the guy that's commenting is annoying or something..
