Hacking How do you know the savetype?

How do people figure out the savetype of new roms? I have the 5Save tool, but I still need to tell it what save type to use. Other than trial and error is there a way to make sure I'm picking the right save type?

Alas unlike the GBA saves are not contained in the header of DS roms which makes things like this a bit harder.
For some roms brute force (maybe with a bit of educated guessing: RPGs use big saves usually so flash 2mbit is a good start) is the only way. Emulators like no$gba usually work for some roms so a quick boot and save can also figure it out.
Other than that saves from one region tend to carry over to others.

I just guess with my N card. Gbatemp has some saves stated in g-online.
