I tried pkgdc and unpkg.py. Pkgdc created a few small files and quit and unpkg.py just extracted like the icon images and that's it.

I have some scene isos and pkgs that I want to try out but I can't seem to decrypt anything to try out the destiny donar disc payload for loading backups.

I can't seem to get 007 game dumper to work either. The payload gets injected but nothing happens and it doesn't dump anything.

Would appreciate it if someone could help with a good guide or tools that I don't know about. Google didn't help me much.

I'm trying on a 1.76 right now. Also have 4.05 yet to test.

Edit - Just after I posted I saw the sticky right above me. Totally missed it. Sorry mods

plus it's from HTOOLS, and I think they're defunct in the computer industry

Hard day work for chrome has to have more than 3 tabs open
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Kirbydogs, CMOS problems could be anything, possibly a dead battery.

If you're booting from USB, hold ESC or whichever button to get into the setup. Then change the boot option to either the USB or DVD drive. You might need to set the boot mode to UEFI as with live CDs.
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
yeah well now I have two computers that best solutions to fix are to take it apart, which isn't happening
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
General troubleshooting step, but have you tried removing the CMOS battery, removing the actual LiPO battery that powers the laptop, and holding the power button for 10-15 seconds while not plugged in? And then put the main battery and CMOS battery back in

it is still "on", with the blue light on
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
so it'd be dangerous to open it either way
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
USB stick got warm when plugged in, probably that it's right next to the charger
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Also, shine a flashlight at the screen and see if you can see anything. Perhaps the backlight for the screen burnt out
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
    WAIT I TURNED IT OFF

    okokok

  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
should I try to turn it on with the USB in?
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
    lets see a flashlight?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I would say to try powering it on without the USB and then first try to either get into the BIOS or see if it boots into whatever OS is already on the SSD/HDD, if any
