ROM Hack Others PS1/2 How do you convert bin or cue files to chd on Mac

Been trying to have ps1 games run on my o3ds but they haven't ran the best, I heard converting them to a chd file would help.

Use VirtualBox or VMware running Windows, then download "chdman" to convert your image files.

as i remember mac can linups, so
something like Homebrew - The Missing Package Manager for macOS (or Linux) and rom-tools?
