Apple How do i restore to 5.0.1?

Hi im using iphone 4 and ive jailbroken it with 5.0 but now that there is an unthethered one i wanna restore it with 5.0.1, Im afraid to restore my iphone since there was recently a new version 5.1 which is can not yet be jailbroken. can i ask for step by step guide on how to restore 5.0.1? sorry im really paranoid in restoring my iphone.

Download 5.0.1 IPSW. Hold Shift (or Option on a Mac) and click restore in iTunes. It'll ask for the IPSW you want to restore, select the one you downloaded.
 
some say i need shsh 5.0.1 blob. do i need that?
Yes. However, Cydia usually stores them. If you were only jailbroken on 5.0, then you can't go to 5.0.1 since Apple no longer signs it. If you did have 5.0.1 and Cydia stored your SHSH blobs, then you need to edit yours hosts file to connect to Saurik's server instead of Apple's.

I believe Cydia will get SHSH blobs for every available firmware regardless of whether you installed it or not. So if you were jailbroken while Apple were still signing 5.0.1 blobs, Cydia has blobs for that firmware, regardless of whether you installed that firmware or not.

i have a backup 5.0.1 ipsw will that work? also how do i determine if i have a correct shsh blob. ive opened cydia and saw on the upper portion SHSH 5.0.1 is that what you were referring to?
