RECOVERY SETTINGS:
UMD MODE: Sony NP9660 -NO UMD-
FAKE REGION: DISABLED
FREE UMD REGION: ENABLED
USE VSH MENU: ENABLED
CPU SPEED IN XMB and UMD/ISO: 333
I can't find "FREE UMD REGION", BTW I'm using Gen D3.

QUOTE1.you must have CUSTOM FIRMWARE 3.52m33-4 or higher
2.you must have ISO in ISO/VIDEO folder
3.press SELECT (3.71m33 or higher) or HOME (3.52m33-4) in XMB (main menu of PSP) to get to the VSH MENU
4.set CPU CLOCK XMB and CPU CLOCK GAME for 333/166
5.set UMD VIDEO MODE to NORMAL
6.select ISO VIDEO MOUNT and select your ISO (with < or > )
7.Click EXIT or click select from VSH MENU, please wait or...
8.you have ISO mounted in VIDEO--->UMD in XMB
I put the video ISO in VIDEO folder, put in a game UMD, but on step 6 I can't select my video ISO, it says "NONE" though I press < or >
Can anyone help me? Thank you

@ thedicemaster - For a umd iso, it goes to ms0:\iso\video.

I got another problem :
I add new UMD video, this time in cso extension.
the video doesn't show up on step 6.

I convert the cso to iso with UMD Gen, but it still doesn't show up.

How do I fix this?
Thank you.

Actually, I "save as" the cso into iso, I don't know how to decompress with UMD Gen.
The file's size from 990MB (cso) become 1.2GB (iso).

Can you tell me the proper way to decompress? Thank you

I've decompressed it with Ciso Converter, it still doesn't work.
I wonder why my PSP can't recognize cso video, while it can play cso games?

well first to get it's work try change your region.
if no FREE UMD REGION in your PSP CFW Recovery Menu than i suggest you to update to GEN D3-2
You can find this in:

Hope this help

I gave up on UMD video CSO, BTW I already have GEN D3-2. Now I only play UMD video ISO, MP4, and PMP format video.

UMD ISOs have extra features such as chapter selection and scene skipping you don't get in video files (unless you take ages setting them up)

Why wouldn't you just download videos in MP4 format, or in another format and convert to MP4? PSP reads those as well.
UMD video ISO has sharper image and better sound quality, but the file size is huge (>1GB) and that size is worth for watching FF VII Advent Children, RE Degeneration, Spiderman 3, and all your favourite movies.
MP4 has average image and sound quality.
PMP format video has less size but the sound is below average (so much noises).

No, no one should ever have to watch this, not even for torture. Anywas back on topic, just wondering but does anyone know if there was ever a TRON movie UMD? As I am very curios as to how one would mount a Video UMD ISO ( O_o quite the name).

Anyways, back on topic. I recently went to Best Buy and saw that they had the TRON UMD Video for $10 just wondering, is it worth the $10 or can I rip the movie from my DVD (Collectors Edition
