I wanted to play RDR but one file was to big, so i split it. Then I put it in my external HDD and tried to play it on my PS3. But when I boot the game off my external HDD it just takes m back to the XMB. What am I doing wrong? [IMG]

Isn't it supposed to go to the XMB so that you can load it?
Go to the Game section and load RDR (it will have a disc beside it).

It's not possible to play a game with a splitted file on an external drive. You have to install it to the internal drive, so that the backupmanager can rejoin the splitted files.

Only if you install the game to the internal drive.
