Hacking how do I make my wii virgin?

My wii is soft modded on 4.1E and im giving it to my niece soon. I want to make the wii virgin and update it to 4.3E. I can't remember the last time i touched the wii so I don't know what i installed on it. What is the safest way to make it virgin and update to 4.3E?

imo i would just update your wii and then rehack it. or dont bother to update and just update your hacks and enable block update with priiloader. the system update will only delete a bunch of cIOS and maybe ur hbc if its too old.

also, u dont have to update to 4.3, it wont offer more then what 4.1 has. it would be easier to stay with 4.1 in terms of there are many exploits to work with. heck you dont even need to worry about disk updates if you apply no disk updates with priiloader.
