Hacking How did you find out about your R4?

I wanted a DS, and heard about the flash carts you could buy for a DS. Did a search for a flash cart on my local ebay-clone and voila.. R4 came up.

I was searching on youtube for something(i cant remember at this time) but im figuring it was ds related. then i ran across i believe to be either a m3 simply or a r4ds demonstration. and i just heard that r4 was better. i was hooked from there and ordered one right away.

Well, the new Pokemanz was going to be out not too long after I got mine, so in preparation I searched for a viable emulator(and couldn't find one), so as an alternative I searched around for flash carts(since I wasn't so naíve to not know they existed), and I came upon the r4, which was the cheapest and looked to be the most viable solution.
Ordered from dealextreme and got my DSL about a week or so after it arrived. Haven't looked back since.

Saw clips of supercard on youtube, found gbatemp for more info. At that time the news about R4 has just been released. I waited for a bit then ordered mine.

Been into modding since PSOne. Always looked into a slot2 device back in the GBA/SP days. Got my DS as a gift. Looked into flashcarts, found out about Slot1 devices. From there its all in the research. Going to different forums. Checking out manufacturers sites and retailers sites, review sites. In the end---Research. Google is info at your fingertips. You just gotta sort thru it and make sense of it.
