I believe the gamegear has a video in on the TV tuner. so with a RCA/The Yellow Red White to HDMI into your PC could do it. or hook it up to a DVD player with the RCA cable

Easy, get a DVD player, plug in the video in cable that splits out to RCA grab your game gear and hook up the RCA cables into the back of the DVD player

I don't think the Game Gear does have composite output, it can be done by hardmodding.
