He's telling you to access HBL before CBHC loads. Do this by holding home and then selecting HBL. Then try uninstalling CBHC from there. Don't let it autoboot into the system menu.
okay will give it a try

tried holding home button CBHC still loads up

press home when it says "autobooting."
i know about that. i thought maybe holding it would bypass it. when i click the home button i get the menu i select homebrew and tried uninstalling the CBHC by running it and choosing uninstall but doesn't work

says

default_title_id not set to selected DS VC!
Flushed NAND Cache!

but still saying CBHC loading...

Did you try and re-download the CBHC installer as suggested earlier? You may have a corrupt version that you keep trying to use. Do it manually not through HBAS.

that's very odd. I know that uninstalling cbhc works, 'cause I've done it before when I wanted to switch haxchi games.

(You technically can edit system.xml to autoboot to Wii U menu directly and dismiss CBHC completely but you're totally clueless so it's the last resort, really)

clueless? following the steps just not working maybe I'm missing something,. how i go about editing.

When you are at the uninstall menu are you able to change the DS game? It's acting like you're not selecting the correct DS game where you put HaxChi

that's actually a really good suggestion.

I hope the op gets his system fixed soon. @op, I wouldn't suggest manually changing that file if u don't know what ur doing, 'cause it carries a high brick risk if done incorrectly. I was thinking that maybe u could use a NAND dump and eyekey's tools to extract the necessary file and then inject it into the system, but as already stated, do that as a last resort.

Yes that would work too but yeah, last resort. Youd have to hard mod with a teensy.

We should be able to figure this out from a software point of view

only game is brain academy
But can you change it? Can you arrow down and press left and right or something?

It has a 100% brick chance if you type anything incorrectly. Like instead of forwarding to Wii U menu, you're forwarding to nonexistent app. [or if you're wanky, NNID creation but that can be fixed]

Sorry to bump this post, but I removed CBHX and it doesn't show the boot screen.
But the icon stayed in the place of Haxchi. Should I reinstall normal Haxchi?

When i tried uninstalling says default_title_id not set to selected DS VC!

I have same problem and after few hours of google and test, found solution.
- reboot Wii U
- while seeing Autobooting... message press Home button right the way
- you should into a boot menu with many options
- change last one: Autobooting to Disabled
- select Boot to Homebrew Menu (or something like that, not sure excatly text)
- you will see familiar Homebrew Menu
- select CBHC installer and do the uninstall
- it should work!
