If you look a few posts up you can see that normmatt posted a method to dump the nand without a nand mod. Just need cubic ninja.

Presuming this is based off ninjhax, which by definition wouldn't work without first updating.

Edit: derp, never mind, just saw the post with the qr code..

Do please not think of cubic ninja if you want to have your 1.0.0-U nand dump.
I don't know any working method for 1.0.0 with MSET, this is really rare so no software method supported currently for nand dumping for such a version.
Just find yourself a hard-mod guide, or ask for someone to help you with the mod, or even..
You could ask them if they want the dump first on irc, so some guys may even tell you who is an expert on modding it.
Any updates applied and your NAND dump would be significantly no special use.
For CN you would need to launch the game first, which would surely update it, also without updating browser, and that would be above 4.x.
The only way for you to choose if you want to get it hacked is find yourself a cart with 4.5 update, so you could use MSET.
Still if you think you would like to keep the special NAND dump, do a hard-mod, there isn't any other known ways.

EDIT:: If you've already updated it by yourself, hope you do update it to 4.x in order to be able to hack it.
Glad to hear that the nand is not important
as i found that cubic ninja is expensive in the place where i live

actually can i use a 4.4j o3ds on 9.5u emnand to upgrade by download play?

Fwiw, not sure if someone answered this or not, but Normatt's QR code will allow you to run any ARM9 binary. Technically all public NAND dumpers (assuming they are compiled as an actual ARM9 binary, instead of Launcher.dat or crap like that) should work with that (unless they use hardcoded Proc9 offsets), but minor adjustments may be necessary (for instance, the framebuffer address might need to be changed, or otherwise nothing will get displayed on screen to begin with).

EDIT: In particular, Decrypt9 should be suitable for the task.

So i can dump the nand by ninjahax and decrypt9
But how can i get the xorpad?
and what is framebuffer address?how to change it?

Decrypt9 can also be used to generate the xorpad. The framebuffer address is hardcoded somewhere in Decrypt9. You should probably try it out first, maybe it just works (tm).

Glad to see you here. I doubt if he could get his 1.0.0-U NAND dump for all you devs through software ways.
Isn't using the cart itself would update his firmware? Also cart updates doesn't update browser - if 1.0.0-U includes no browser, that would be quite a problem for him.
Decrypt9 is powerful however i doubt if it would run in his special firmware without any updates and could produce a proper full NAND dump.
Still i would suggest you to get it hard-modded. But please keep in mind, you are the one to make the choice.
Once it is above 1.0 the NAND dump could be no more than ordinary one - that isn't special at all.
If you've already get it updated, feel free to play with it. I suggest 4.x cause you could be more freely to select the steps further.

Good that's quite a piece of good news for me to hear.
BTW, hope his NAND dump contains some interesting details for you all.

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't worry about it any more.

after these suggestion,
i also want to make a nand dumped first
(at least it is rare to see)
but it takes time for me to find a cheaper cubic ninja, the next step for me is to find the game cart

Ah, good point, I didn't see that on the mobile site. I'm not sure if there's anyone in that area that does 3DS NAND mods.
Poor my city
always eurge everyone to use something sky___

Btw is it possible to use sky with cubic ninja?

Sky works with pretty much everything, CN is just an addition to which you can have region-free. However, since you're on 1.0.0, you'll probably have to do a system update to play the games that you want.

i just wonder renting a sky from shop and dump nand
and update system by rom would be a cheaper choice
