I know they call it the Definitive Edition, but for a game lacking features from its initial release that title doesn't seem appropriate. I'm wondering how players have found the new version compared to the original. How well have the GamePad features been adapted to a single screen?

I did wonder if Switch 2 would allow both screens - handheld and TV - to be used at once for this game but it seems not. I think that's a shame. Does anyone know if the hardware is there to facilitate something like that, or if it won't be possible on Switch 2, even with future firmware?

HOS doesn't support outputting two different framebuffers to docked and handheld, based on Switch 1 firmware. It does support cloning image from docked to handheld display, though it's not natively supported.
