Homebrew Homebrew viewing SD Card issue

Hi,
I have followed the sites instructions to allow me to install homebrew on my 3DS, and this has all worked;.
I have a R4 card that allows me to play NDS backup files - that works.
I have some GBA emulators installed but when run they only see the internal SD Card not the game SD Card (R4) - how can I change this please?
