I want to play 3DS on TV, its a must to stream to any device connected to TV.

It's been a long time we are dreaming about it.

Thanks

Not to mention the cpu drag that would put on the system. Ever tried recording the screen of a shoddy computer with software? The same logic can be applied here.

OBJECTION!

RemoteJoy for the PSP did pretty well on this job. Only one game I played with RemoteJoy enabled had lags. And that game was Vice City Stories. Every other game worked fine.

But the 3DS lacks a USB-Port and therefore it won't be that easy to get anything on another screen... and Wi-Fi might be too slow (or you had to compress the data, which would actually mean a cpu drag).
Until someone really digs into that, I will stick to my $200+ Capture Card.^^

RemoteJoy lagged with 3rd Birthday too. It could do pretty well with if you overclocked the CPU but then that also makes the PSP devour the battery.

Let's find out what's wrong with this statement, guys. Let's figure it out together.

Vita TV is basically a PSVita on the tv. Vitas can play PSP games.
Vita TVs can run VHBL so that means you can play any PSP Backup.
There is nothing wrong with this statement.

the thing that is "wrong" with the original statement Mech made about getting a Vita TV is: handheld console on a tv, as if it were a traditional console.
you can also buy a device to slot the vita tv into and make it into a handheld console.. take that haters :D

i think the point was how is anything psvita related going to help someone play 3ds games on their TV.........might as well say "oh that's why i bought a xbox one because i can play it on the tv"......yeah...and that helps play 3ds games on the TV how?......truth is you could just buy a psp 2000/3000 and also played it on the tv, its not like thats a vita exclusive feature

yeah....but similar solutions i.e RemoteJoy, which would be a similar concept to what the OP was talking about and how other consoles have achieved it is different than just saying a different console can do it natively

PS im not that bothered, i think it was a fairly pointless request to begin with given that most homebrew is usermode only and i doubt anything like this would be possible without major work, but im just pointing out what i presume gypsynimrod was pointing out

I saw some news about an hombrew used to add plugins to a 3DS rom.

Maybe we can Stream capture by network. with some fast transfert protocol .
