Anyone got any suggestion to some good homebrew apps for the R4? right now i only got beup, color, dsorganize and diagnoSE.

could you tell me where i can get DSorganise? i decided i want to see what its like. lol

also how did you get beup to work on ur R4? i ahve 0.3e and i load up and everything but at the 'connecting using firmware setup' bit it says

searching...
associating...
aquiring host info from DHCP...
cannot connect.

it does this every time no matter where i stand. lol i know alot of people ask but still ou may be able to tell me coz yours is on an R4 too.

Here

About the DSorganize i use the 2.8 GBAX version, clicked on the link and then i was taken to this site http://gbax.gp2x.de/gbax2007.html#TheEntries i scrolled a bit down and found it downloaded it and putted the needed files on my DS Lite.

I'll bet the problem with beup has something to do with your wireless or something, beup is working fine here atlast.

There is one particular homebrew app i would like to have.
Is there anything out there which can connect to my computer and transfer the file from my computer to a folder on my DS Lite?
Reason i want this is because then i won't have to take out my microSD and put it in the reader to transfer files all the time.
I've just broken my spring on my R4 and i hope there is nothing more which starts breaking, because i would hate to not be able to use my R4.

if you havent clicked the SD in then you can just pull it out and push it in, otherwse you're doomed lol

but yeah someone is developing an FTP for slot 1 cards. but at this moment in time i dont THINK there are any apps like that.

Yea i can drag it out and push it inn there is no problems so far beside that the spring is totally broken i think, but i want to minimize the chance for anymore damage to my R4, so an app which i could connect from my pc or ds to either upload files to the ds over the wireless or download files from my computer onto my ds over the wireless would have been great.

Anyway, just suggest some homebrew apps you think is worth trying if you know of any.

theres an app called DSlive weather (might all be one word) that you can try out. i never actually got that working though, couldnt find my location ID on weather.com lol

actually i did find it, in the address bar there is a 6 digit code near the end of the link and thats the ID... might not work for england though thats all.

and if you wanna know more about that file transfering app thing then try searching for DS FTP on a search engine.
