For one thing, it means that homebrew code will be strictly limited to user mode code, the same way commercial games and applications are, which drastically lowers the likelihood (and probably actually eliminates the possibility) of anyone’s (*cough*GW*cough) code accidentally bricking your console.

I lol'd! :rofl2:

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way." -

Be safe don't brick.

Can people not interested in the development of homebrew shut up and infect another thread instead?
*lurking*
P.S. don't answer

Here is a console demo for the developers in here :toot:

You can create multiple consoles and print to them with a minimal version of printf/sprintf.

Now we can understand why smealum code wasn't working with anyone.
Even though I always said that we only needed patience and that things would come with time,
I'll have to say it again, but with a smile for the better prospect for the homebrew scene,
homebrews are already a viable solution, we only have to wait until the homebrews we want are released.

This kind of news are pure awesomenes, it's a pity that I'm stuck on 7.1, but hopefully this leads to an easier way to find exploits in recent firmwares, the gate is open (*ehem* GW put a brick in the midle of that gate *ehem*) and there is no way to stop the homebrew developers, so there will be enough reasons to struggle more for new exploits and more interesting things coming for the 3DS :D. Good job to all the people involved on this, seriously, congratulations

I really wish i had a 4.5 compatible ds flashcart now, having all my money tied up with bills and other doings really sucks.
All the interesting stuff in hacking scenes seems to happen when i am incapable of experimenting with it.

You can get one for like 15 bucks! That can't be too much trouble for your wallet, can it?

at the moment i'm moving into a house so all mmy money is tied up in house payments, repairs on it, food, and bills.
i tired to get a cheap $4 card off of eachmall but the way to pay with credit card keeps saying insuficient funds even though i know the money was in there. the CS was no help they said to just try paying with western union.
