I dont like the default low quality homebrew channel. Are there any alternatives?

Any way i can modify the original for smoother animations + different textures?

I am experienced with coding luckily. I just don't know how to get started modifying the homebrewlauncher

Just do what you always do when coding? So read the code, find what you want to change and change it...

I mean how to set it up; you need to install dependencies and libraries for you to be able to change things

it may be too old to compile. you have to set WIIDEV ev to the devkitpro folder. I was unable to compile it. I could compile wiipax, but not the channel itself, so I suspect it's too old, and you'll have to use older files from the repository of old devkitpro stuff. maybe find something that's about seven years old.
