Hardware Homebrew Browser Down?

Hi all,

I can't start my homebrew browser says:

"Read error -81 occurred. Retrying..."

and

"The server appears to be having an issue. Retrying..."

endlessly.

Searched everywhere to find out what error code -81 is but had no luck. Also tried to get onto www.CodeMii.com, but the website is not responding.

Am I to assume that the servers are down? Anyone else not able to access the Homebrew Browser at the moment?

Try adding www2.codemii.com as a repository. The normal site seems to be completely wiped out.

www2.codemii.com has broken links. The Homebrew Browser is actually programmed to fall through to www2 when www fails, but doesn't print that text on-screen for some reason. I suspect the -81 error is from failing at the www2 attempt too.

I poked around for any mirrors of codemii.com, but found none. You might try calling the site owner:

I am getting a Read error -6 when I try to launch the homebrew browser. Any thoughts?\

Edit: I did not realize that my Internet Connection was incorrect and that was the cause of the Read error -6. But now I am also having the same issue of a read error -81

Before this started happening I remember watching it fall through to www2. It tried three times I think then tried www2. And then it worked.I wish codemii would come back. Showed my neighbor how to get to the homebrew browser and looked stupid because it just froze up again. I does everyone's wii freeze up as much as mine?

I installed a fresh homebrew browser, and it worked once by falling back to www2. It seems only on fresh install of the hbbrowser. codemii backup seems to be down. get 404 errors in web browser.

Good News!! The Homber Browser is back up and running again!! I changed the settings and enabled Use Secondary Server and it works!!
