A dev called rms has released app a couple of days ago that allows you too see Your PS3:
PS3 System Target ID
PS3 Motherboard Revision
PS3 BD-Laser Revision


I don't know if I'm allowed to post it or not, so just use google (Unless I'm allowed to put the link on here.)
