Gaming Hold on, 360 Pro for AU$376?

OK, just a thought here.

Before research, I figured that the arcade bundle was just a 360 pro without the hard drive (which I found out later to be wrong)

so i calculated:

XBOX360 Arcade Bundle = AU$278 at BIG W
XBOX360 20GB Hard Drive= AU$80 inc. postage off eBay (Link Here)
= AU$358 where the 360 Pro retails for AU$499

but further research indicates that:
- The Arcade doesnt include a Live Headset, or Ethernet Cable

so then...

Bit of CAT5 cable from your local $2 shop = AU$2
Live Headset off eBay = AU$16 (Link Here)

That means a 360 Pro (+5 Arcade Games) costs AU$376...

Do take note that both of the eBay auctions are from reputable eBay sellers and there are both from Australia NOT Hong Kong.

Your correct. But xbox live will soon take the total up a little bit. 12 months = AU$ 79.95

or maybe you can get a bit cheap on eBay like i did.

Yeah, but the Pro doesnt come with 12 months Live, either.

So youd have to pay that with the Pro as well.

EDIT: oh yes and as for finding a cheap 360 on ebay, I dont trust ebay with used 360 consoles, i fear i would get it then turn it on and get the rrod

I'm looking for a 360 myself... and came across this site with the awesome deal for a 360.

But the thing is... that deal ended yesterday...
The process of achieving that price tag is done via trade-in deals... so they exploit the living crap out of them

Me hopes for more deals like these.

Haha, well the thing is...

A few weeks back I was with a few mates in my local BIGW and we were kicked out and banned for life (supposedly) for acting like dickheads, which I now deeply regret, because nowhere has a 360 as cheap.

Perhaps I can use the "Seen it cheaper, we'll match it" thingo at EB Games
