Hacking Highest Game Firmware Installed on CFW

Hey, I was just wondering what's the highest firmware required by a game you've installed on the CFW.
Mine are Yoshi's New Island (7.1.0U) and Taiko no Tatsujin: Don to Katsu no Jikuu Daibouken (7.1.0J).

I got Fantasy Life to work (8.1.0U).

The minimum firmware the game requires doesn't matter as much as the SDK version it was compiled with.

I was wondering why I couldn't get yoshis new island to work. So will need to modify the CIA file for it to work on cfw?

I couldn't get majoras mask to work so I tried to update my emunand but updated sysnand...good thing I have backups. Personally I'm donenwith cfw its buggy as hell for me and cias don't stick.

Mm wouldn't work as it uses the 7.x encryption

I was wondering why I couldn't get yoshis new island to work. So will need to modify the CIA file for it to work on cfw?

yoshis new island didn't show in the main menu of my 3ds .. but I start it from devmenu and it worked.

If an installed CIA game does not show up in your home menu, it probably means that CIA isn't in the same region as your 3DS system.

A region free patch would help with that I think.

PS. I think some sort of list with lists ALL the games that are compatible with the CFW would be best I think......
