Well he DID define the address as PAD_COUNT, i can see where this leads to confusion xD

Yeah it did, it's my most-wanted feature so my friend and me can play Mario Kart 8 with GameCube Controllers, that and maybe DS4 Gyro Support for Splatoon :P

How do the debug builds work? Any controller I try adding still goes crazy and I want to try and fix it. Buttons will work, but a direction will get permanently stuck.

Hmmmm I wonder what it would be like playing Sm4sh on a keyboard...that would be cool.

Do you mind just explaining how to do it? I don't see any posts about it
Planned features:
- Implemented GC-Adapter, PS3, PS4 support.
- Other devices can be added by adding just a .ini file to the SD Card. (New mechanics that certain controller are using need to be implemeted)
- The button configuration of the pre-implemented controllers (+ keyboard) can be change through an file on the SD Card. (Using predefines variables with makes it much easier)
- The Gamepad button layout can be remapped through a config file.
- I will remove the built in support for the devices that are not listed above, but I will provide them as a config file. This way the app is cleaner and you guys have a few example config files.

Okay, another quick update report.
[...]
Todo:
- Implement the remapping of the sticks
- parsing config files for keyboard + mouse
- code clean up + further testing
- bug fixing!!!
- allow comments int the config files

When this is done we can start a semi public beta.

Just curious, since this essentially lets USB controllers control the gamepad, rather than showing up as a 2nd controller, could it be made to also support the Pro controller? I don't mean the USB controller acting as the Pro, but rather the Pro acting as a USB controlling the gamepad, for those games that don't have Pro support. If this impossible or already suggested or already in there and I'm just too retarded to get it to work, I apologize in advance. I just really love the Pro and wish all games supported it.

Basicly, WiiUPro to VPAD is what you mean.

Nah, I'd rather like to see something like WiiCCPro to WiiUPro.

Hello! My name is professorjackk2099 (aka MoonBlade, aka redz1t, aka Agent4)
Under interest of finding a way to convert PC mouse+keyboard controls to the Wii U title: Splatoon, this is the only software that has come out of it's way to deliver an easy method of doing so.
However there seems to be 3 major flaws with HID to VPAD which make it unviable for competitive play:

Issue #1: 95% of the time, the screen will slowly move to wherever the last input was pointing.

Issue #2: There is a limit as to how fast you can aim the screen. For example, if I wanted to perform a 180 degree turn it takes a very long time. This is not HID to VPAD's fault, it is Splatoon's sensetivity options for stick controls.

Issue #3: Being accidentally discovered, there is a way to "cheat" in multiplayer matches while holding the forward key on the keyboard while pointing right on the analog stick to have INSANE running speed on the squid character. This has the potential to get people banned from Splatoon.

The issues #1 and 2 seem like something that can be solved with a HID to VPAD-GYRO implication.
Does anybody know of something of the sort that I can use? I look forward to sniping with a PC mouse.
