Hey, (I dont know where I should post this, lol)
I decided to take a bigger break from the WiiU Scene, at least as a developer. The last couple of months I spent a lot of time (maybe too much) into it, but I should really focus again on my "real life".
Every project I started seems to be pretty stable now (JNUSTool, Saviine, Hid to VPAD, and serval loadiine features), and I'll try to keep the support for them. This includes updating the updatetitles.csv for JNUSTool, adding some new devices for HID-to-VPAD or basicly fix some bugs (maybe it can take a bit longer now).
But currently I dont have the time/motivation anymore to add major features. Anyway, I would really like to see someone to grab the HID-to-VPAD project and do the stuff I planned to do. Especially the support for mutiple controllers or basicly just config files.
Finally I want to make a big shoutout to @dimok. Thanks for everything dude! Without you I would've never done so much (and so good). I could learn a lot of things from your code, and ask you everything. Even though sometimes my code was still "completly crap" :P

I don't know, maybe I'm fully back in like 2 weeks, but for now I can't see this stuff anymore (Topic in our IRC channel "<dimok> man coding for wiiu sucks" ;)) Though I still have some other ideas I never finshed, like a simple screenshot function (+ attemp to make a simple video recoder), button remapping (For normal controls + HIDtoVPAD), downloading updates directly on the console etc. Hopefully I will come back soon and finish them ;)

btw.
I added a donation button to the first post. I coded these tools because it was really fun and a challenge for me, not to earn any money. But if you want to support me and like what I did, feel free to leave a little gift ;)

bad to hear this, this mod is really great :(

Hope you find what your looking in your "real life" :)

V0.2e didn't freeze the first time I loaded it up. I was able to connect/disconnect without any freezing. However, after launching Splatoon, (not sure if this caused it. Just saying what I did right after.) it started freezing again in the same ways it did before. When it was working with the new version, this was in the home menu. It froze during the same running time (no reboots) when I tried it with Splatoon. I did have the homebrew launcher running for quite awhile, however. And I also played some NDS injects using Loadiine. Not sure if this had anything to do with it.

Can anyone confirm that the PSX to USB Adapter (vid=0810&pid=0001) supports rumble for this homebrew?
My PS4 controller doesn't support rumble, so I highly doubt a PSX controller would at this moment, if they're even compatible. Someone feel free to prove me wrong.

EDIT: Plus, if you look in the OP, it says that rumble isn't working in general right now.

I've read the post multiple times, that only applies to the DualShock 3 and DualShock 4 controllers. and it's coded in for the GameCube adapter.
I'm using the latest version, and started up Splatoon. It's not working with Gamecube controllers. I even touched the gamepad and the controller simultaneously to make sure and no vibration.

edit: Didn't realize there was a new version out. Sorry!

I don't know how to use the patcher to make the hori pokken controller work. Can anyone give me the run down?

Can you test if the wavebird is still broken?
https://github.com/Maschell/hid_to_vpad/releases
Can you put this to the front page so people know you're done?

Just read through the thread, but I didn't see a solution. Does anyone know anything about mice not working properly in Splatoon? In touchscreen mode, I can only move the cursor up and down and it's stuck in the top left position. I can kinda turn left, but it's more of a drift thing, and none of the mouse buttons seemingly respond. I tried 2 different mice and had the same issue with both.

I still have no clue how to patch in other HID compliant controllers. That information would have been nice to have before the dev left. :(

Damn. I was hoping config files would have been made for this. Well, here's to hoping some other dev picks this up and at least adds that. The "holding Z for gamepad L and R" thing is not really convenient. More of a nuisance, actually.

How would you mapped it?

I'd love if I could make L and R on the GameCube controller input the Gamepad L and R. Currently it inputs ZL and ZR, I believe?
@Maschell could you make it so L and R are switched back to default (so that you don't have to input the Z button at the same time) or point to which value/file to change

Silly question, would it be possible to make the Wii U Pro Controller act like the Gamepad? Then the Eshop Wii titles that can use the Gamepad would use the Pro Controller instead?

I think will add the config files, but I don't when I have the time for it. It should be take that much time though, but no promises :D
If i can reconfigure keyboard and mouseinputs, you will be my hero of the month, seriously. Sploot with mousekb, mario kart and 3d as well as zelda with gc-controller, and taiko and tetris with ps3-controller... This is my definition of heaven xD also does it work with loadiine by now? (for the tetris and taiko part)
