sorry if i sound like a noob .. im new here...

i have heard rumours that SS/HG works fine (at least - less freezes) on an Acekard2i
is that true?

i am currently play SS on my R4DS (anicent thing - i know, but it has always worked for other games for me..)
and I have already earned the 3rd batch. now my game is deemed unplayable
freezing occurs too often i can barely get through a door without getting a freeze.

i am wondering if using an Acekard2i really does solve the problem
i am contemplating in buying a new card if that's the case - i really want to get through the game with minimum freezing - at least a card that will allow me to play the game... i am completely stuck right now.

the Abiosso SDK was figured out yesterday its the people who coded the wifi modes

No, it's just some random part of the code that you stumbled onto.

Almost perfectly. Freezes at random moments have been reported.
By the time that you get one shipped to you, though, a patch might come out.

I have heard that it still freezes on Acekard, but not as often. I would reccommend that you wait for a patch to come out, instead of buying a new card. By the time the card arrives in your mailbox, the patch might be out.

Also, I've gotten past my third badge as well.
This is the pattern I follow:
event, event, save (then the game freezes and you restart)
 
I can confirm that this game works perfectly on the R4iGold clone, but with random crashes.

That's the same for most carts and the crashes aren't random they are every 24 "events"
event= pass through door/stairs etc.

If the game crashes it's not working perfectly.
Those crashes are caused by the AP.
 
current soln for ppl who had 3rd 3 actions:

run the crack on no$gba and use ur save file to countinue playing on emulator, wait for the patch and stop trolling bc we r not paying for the game.

Nevermind, I guess it was after 24 events, it happened right after I picked up a potion, sorry about that.

Mods, if you wish, you may lock this thread. However, this is at least an attempt to bring a little bit of order into this mess.
I request that a mod sticky this thread, or make a new thread, where facts can be edited into the first post, as more news comes.
If nothing else, all of the super-duper leet hacker folks can inform us on their progress, and maybe we can have more than just hollow speculation. This thread could contain labeled links to other important threads, and/or lists of what does and does not work. This could establish a center of information for flashcard/emulator compatibility, stop the dumbass fix rumors, and coordinate efforts into a singular location.

Latest version of Desmume can play the game.
No$GBA has a fix which makes the game playable.

What does not work:
-Unpacking the rom, deleting guru2.narc, and repacking
-Trying to patch a different variable into the event counter (at least, I couldn't make it work)
-Using the (J) patch
-Copying English text into the Japanese ROM (games are different)
-Patching with Arm7 from: Sim City(J), Bowser's inside story(U), and Yugio 2010 World Champion(U), N+
-Removing the overlay 128 file
-Making a dummy overlay 128 file
-Copying the Japanese patched Arm 7 or Arm 9 to it
-Trying to move US files to JP one, to use that JP fix

Events Info:
Freezes happen based on events. The more gym badges you have, the less time it takes to freeze.
Badges/Events - 
0: 24 events
1: 21 events
2: 15 events
3: 3 events
4+: Rumored to be unplayable. (Save will not load)
7: Rumored to make allow more events.

These are not based on which badges you have, but how many.
For example, 1, 2, and 4 would provide the same event result as 1, 2, and 3.

Events are:
Saving, Entering new area, plot events, using cut, using bag items, battles, wild peokemon, using pokegear

- This matches with the equation y = -(1/2)*x^3 - (5/2)*x + 24 and with y = 27 - 3*(2^x) and certainly with some other ones.
- With this "events" needed we can think there is a countdown, each event add -1 to a var who doesn't support value below 1, that can explain the countdown crashes and the fact that the game won't start if the value is negative. If it's right, a AR code who lock this var must work..

- All reported R4DS cards and clones (Reported Freezing), although, there have been some reports that the latest 1.31 firmware works.
