You know pretty much all you need to about flashcarts, the rest you'll pick up along the way.

CycloDS Evolution(which I use) has excellent ROM support and great features, but it doesn't work on DSi(or XL) and is quite expensive.

When you post on the introductions, you don't get anything to your post count. If you did I would have a lot more posts.
