Build your own. That's about the only way you're gonna be able to get that with a budget of $700.

    No double posting, be patient.

If you want a gaming PC, make one on Newegg as generally it's much cheaper than buying a tower.

    So what game is it?

There's a big difference between minimum and recommended settings for most games.

also gtx520 and gaming pc doesn't really go well together. the gtx 520 is a low end card that gives just a little more power than the intel integrated solution but doesn't really allow a lot of headroom for pleasant gaming. (it does allow you to play games, but the graphics won't be as good as other gpu)

    you should build your own.

here's an example of a base:
    http://www.tomshardw...-card,3032.html

if you want more power and get closer to your 700$ budget,

you can change the cpu to an i5 (add 70 to 100$)
and the mobo for an intel one (add 40$ for a p67 gigabyte)

then if you want some $ headroom for an other choice of case/psu or hdd, you can always reduce the price of the gpu by picking a 6850, a 6770 or a gtx 550ti.

    I'll offer this up, OP:

Salvage the old hard drive from the computer that you're on right now, and use that in your new rig. No game REQUIRES 1TB of disk space, so unless that list of requirements you posted is just one that you yourself made up, I'd be skeptical of how exaggerated some of the other "requirements" are.

Right now, hard drive prices are waaay up. Mostly due to the flooding in Thailand.

We aren't your personal research team. If you want a PC, find it yourself and quit complaining when we give you advice.

Okay well First off Your budget does it include taxes/ shipping total expensive must be 700?

Second a 520 is not going to play any of the games u listed on medium to high settings the most important part of any gaming pc is a video card. skimping on it is unwise.

Also to play those games you do not need a Bluray drive not sure what makes u want that but its an added expense i would cut to a dvd burner and get a good pc for now.

    So a basic suggestion

Just a gigabyte board z68 chipset and a core i5 2400 for 289.99 for the pair
    http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813128520
    http://www.newegg.co...N82E16819115074
8 gigs ram chosen @ random
    http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820104242 $50
Depending on your personal preference i would alot around $200 to the video card.
use the hard drive from the old rig.
Buy a dvd burner instead of a bluray
and Acquire windows 7 from your old pc or in some other fashion.

Your @ 539 with board processor ram video you need a case + ps and hdd and burner and monitor Thats going to be tight but i wouldn;t want to cut back much myself otherwise your wasting your 700

You can buy a cheaper coolermaster case with a 500 watt supply for like 40-50 bucks and leave around 100 for a monitor

It seems like every other week GBAtemp gets more and more immature, 12-year old, illiterate, ungrateful spoiled-brats who come here (usually asking "WAT PARTZ DO I GET 4 MY AWSOME GAMING PC PLZZ IT NEED TO PLAY CRYSIS MAXXED OUT AT 60 FPS NO EXCEPTIONS AND BTW MY BUDGET IS $200 LOLOLOLO OK GO FETCH ME LINKS") and then ignore all the genuine advice handed to them.

    Fuck that.

Wow,you sure have problems. You must have a piece of shit stuck between you're Cerebrum.Becuase I never said i wanted to play "Crysis" on 60 FPS,I would be happy playing it at 25.And $200 will only get you a video card.Im just looking for a pc to start out with. But it seems alot of stores have ran out of good PC's.Spoiled?Wtf.You dont know what spoiled is,and you dont know me at all,My friend steve recommended me this site becuase I needed help,Iv'e been looking for computer for a while now.You just think you know everything there is in life.Who are you to judge. No one, just some lame-ass geek sitting in front of his computer monitor with his right hand on his penis, jacking it to gay porn.If youre really so depressed about life,I advice you see a Psychiatrist.Because I only came here for help, and it seems youre getting all worked up about me asking for help. You're going to get no where in life like that :)

$200 will not only get you a video card... you need to put forth the effort to understand what it is you're doing. Even if everyone helps you, you're going to fuck it up eventually and not know what to do because you didn't bother to learn anything in the first place.

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 - 2.66GHz
    GeForce 9800 GT 512MB GDDR3

That's pretty much a good medium-build. The 9800 is about three years old, and the E7XXX series is really nice to overclock for, as long as your motherboard doesn't limit you (some people get up to 3.4 on that one with nothing to bat an eye over).

If you watch for sales you can usually pick up things for an alright price. If you don't want to understand what it is you're doing, and you want someone to hand you over a computer for $700, go on somewhere like newegg or tigerdirect and pay for a prebuilt system that's marked up in price.

Since your patience and gratitude are so lacking, I suggest you find your way to http://www.justanswer.com where people will definitely help you promptly and work with you despite your bitterness.
Because yes, you'll have to pay for it.

    edit: whoops, misspelled link

You just confirmed your own age, and it appears to be in the single digits. Masturbating to gay porn? :glare: Grow up.

You aren't spoiled? Kid, you've got a fucking iMac. You know how many other people would kill for one of those?

And as for knowing you... you don't know me either. Nowhere did I mention being depressed in my post, but as a matter of fact I do take offense to that word.

I "advice" YOU to stop running your mouth before someone who DOES see a psychiatrist and who takes antidepressants (like me) hears and decides to knock some sense into you the hard way.

It's painfully obvious kid that you should should invest that $700 into a better education, and preferably people that will actually give a shit about you and your problems.

People ask build advice here all the time. If you took 20 seconds of your life to look, you'd know that. You'd probably even have a vague idea what you are doing.
It's fine if you don't want to look, most don't, but this thread already had some sound advice for you. Yet, instead, you focused on the idiotic and ran your mouth off with baseless accusations and personal attacks. Sure it's the internet, but if you're seeking aid then that isn't something you should be doing. Who am I to judge, I don't know you, nor do I want to.

What I do know is that these people are here to help you, not serve you.
But at this point, that's most likely in the past tense already.

I told you, we aren't your personal servants. Hopefully by now you understand what we're trying to say. So please, before you insult any more of us think about how idiotic you must sound.

EDIT: And I can't believe my 600th post was in this thread...greeat.
