My mate just lent me his PSP fat with a firmware of 3.40 OE-A and it's hax0red so it can run roms and shizz.

My question is how do I update the custom firmware to the version needed to play patapon and god of war. I've been searching for a while but there's lots of crap out there. If someone could give me some simple instructions i would be forever greatful

You should be able to use Calo's easy installer to go from 3.40 OE-A to 3.52 M33 -> 3.52 M33-4

Both of those games work on 3.52 M33-4, but you can easily upgrade to 3.90 M33-2 straight from 3.52 M33-4 when you're ready.



Eh, scratch that, you already need 3.52 M33 installed for that to work.

I'm using the updater you linked to to update now. someone let me know if i'm doing something wrong

Scratch the part about being able to go from 3.40 to 3.52 M33 with that download. It won't work.

Edit: I think this is the file I was looking for:
RS Download

That will take you from 3.40 OE-A to 3.52 M33

Then you can go from 3.52 M33 to 3.52 M33-4 with the link in my first post.
