sorry if this is insulting - but you looked in little endian and big endian?
i don't have freedom wars, but that's strange the money is hard to find... good luck!

little endian, the bytes are swapped.
for example, your money is 1000. hex would be 03e8.
big endian representation is 03 e8.
little endian representation is e8 03. (simply reverse the order of the bytes)


in ps nova, values are little endian, maybe all games for vita I'm not sure.

Yeah. Did a bit of researching myself (Big and Little Endian), interesting CS concept. Makes me want to finally take SICP off of my backlog .

As for the reversed order of bytes, that's actually present in Project Diva F 2nd as well, and I've tried (without knowing I was searching for a little endian ) searching for the bytes in reversed order for Freedom Wars - Zilch correct offsets found. I'll try again though, see if anything new turns up. Thanks.

no problem, i'm still trying to find a really nice hex editor for windows. hxd is a bit basic, at the moment i'm using hexinator, it's nice i think.
for mac i used 'synalize it', and i could like, 'document' the file, and give labels/bookmarks to offsets, it really helps when you are trying to map out the structure of the save, you can see the data so much clearer.

some hex editors make searches easy for you, they can take care of the endianness etc

I'm pretty sure Hex Workshop handles all that stuff, but it's not freeware. Easy to get through other means of course, but that's probably your best option.

not decrypted no, you will need to open near, but i think you can set it up to use the email app instead of near, maybe try that.
but if it is because the game requires a higher fw that you have, maybe it's not possible.

ah ok, i have the japanese version too. that's not the id, i guess that is the 'catalog number' or something - more than one id.
just like 3ds has title id, product code etc. vita even has a seperate id for the trophies... i don't know why they make it so difficult lol.
you can see the game id if you go to gro0: - it begins with PCSG

Well, id be willing to test things out for you/people... Also this savegame basically has nothing unlocked. My asia savegame has alot more unlocked. Might be useful. But i need to update sys firmware to acces the save on different mem card.. 0_0 so im not sure id be able to get the decrypted save..

Pretty much this, it's how I was able to help catalog over half of the inventory items for Xenoblade Chronicles X when I was helping with the gecko editor early on. Piracy will be pretty interesting on the Vita, seeing as there's almost no game sales anymore anyway in NA.

This is my other savegame of doax3 @ owner level 27 with much more unlocked. the other save game is from my EU memory card. this is from my ASIA memory card, if that matters.
