    I have a japanese wii wich was semi-bricked by my SMG US and now my options is not working !
    Does anyone here know if I can fix it using a SMG JP?
    please help me =/

    Try getting SSBB as if I remember correctly, SMG has 3.0 firmware while SSBB has 3.1. SSBB's should overwrite SMG's 3.0 US firmware.

    Other than that, I don't know.

    but if I use the same game in japanese it's sure that it will not work??

    Others have said you can fix semi-bricked systems with Brawl. Since yours is a japanese system, I would assume you could use Japanese SSBB to fix it. Ask around though.

    SMG JP will not attempt to update at all. Use SSBB-JP, the single layer version if you are not interested in the game(so that you won't waste DL DVD).
