Why wouldn't you want to update to a current CFW? Laziness? Stupidity? Cowardice? You guys. If they are having problems or not, suggesting the latest, noob friendly, better and more future proof thing is the right way to go. Al9h with LumaCFW is the way. It's the new standard. It's better cleaner more reliable. Don't be an RxTool! I bet you got a SDTV sitting next to your VCR with a NES. Move on! (I still have those things but I got the new stuff too.) All you RxTools bug the hell out of me on this board. If you don't want to come to the future then sit there with your dvd player, but don't bitch when I say my UHDTV is better cause it is!

A UHDTV actually isn't better for retro gaming. The NES, SNES, Genesis, and all the other consoles from that era look much better on a CRT.
Not to mention i play games where audio and video timing are both crucial to the game being playable. CRT televisions virtually eliminate these issues with minimilizing things like input lag and video/audio synchronization, making them an optimal choice for rhythm games or competitive games. Upgrading or changing when it isnt entirely necessary is just inefficency in my opinion

Im not saying newer isn't better, i'm saying if you dont want udhdtv quality, and want something more like what i said above, I feel it isn't worth it. Not to mention, larger newer TVs tend to have a degree of input lag and not the best color quality, but then again there are other displays for those matters. Theres no point in installing the latest linux distribution on a calculator if you are only using it to crunch numbers (putting aside things like processing capabilities). THE SITUATION HAS TO BE EVALUATED TO DETERMINE THE MOST EFFICENT METHOD OF SOLVING IT that uses as minimal resources as possible, while keeping in mind that the future is not certain.

If rxtools is already on your 3ds, and you aren't looking for further functionality beyond what it offers, there isn't much of a reason to switch at this time. If it becomes broken and unusable with future updates, then there may be more of a reason. Personally, i feel that by the time it breaks with future firmware updates, nintendo would target several CFWs instead.
