Hacking Help with USB Loader GX

Hi, I need help with USB loader GX, I moded my Wii using letter bomb and installed USB loader GX, the app says that I'm running iOS 58 (and I know that means that iOS 249 and 250 are stub) so when I load a game it redirects me to the homebrew channel.

So what do I do to remove the stubs, do I install iOS 236 then use d2x cios, or should I use mod mii and start from scratch? (By that I mean delete the apps I have in HBC and use the ones mod mii gives me)

Any help is appreciated!

You don't need to remove the stubs, just install d2x over them.

You don't need IOS236 to install a cIOS in slot 249 or 250. you also don't need modmii to install cIOS, you can do it manually.
Just use the cIOS installer directly.

As you are on Wii section, I guess you use a Wii console, not WiiU Wii mode.

use this one :
d2x cIOS installer pack for Wii
extract to /apps/d2x installer/
launch from HBC and select this :

what : v8 final (or v10 r52 if you want)
slot : 249
base : 56
version 21008 (or 21010 if you chose v10 above)

Press A to install.
Do the same but slot 250 and base57.

press Home to exit.

Thanks Cyan! Got my USB Loader GX working, but a quick question I'd like to set up a forwarder so I could access it directly from my home screen, how can I do that?

download the Forwarder v5.1 wad for Wii (not vWii)

install that wad with a wad manager
