My friend is selling his psp(not running CFW) and it has firmware 5.01. Can it sitll be hacked. He got the psp from the daxter bundle?

its slim? well i think its still hackable... doubt they were adding psp3000 to bundle packs... you can still check the net, there is a lot of articles that will tell you what you need to do to be sure your psp isnt the one with beloved "unhackable" mainboard ;]

btw if the screen dont have scan lines - which is a psp - 3000 hardware feature - its moddable 100% xD

I'm so tired of saying this. You can never be sure if a PSP is hackable or not! It's up to chance.

Apparently the new Datel LITE BLUE TOOL works on the unhackable v3 motherboard and the PSP 3000. I have no idea if this is true or not - just what another topic has been saying. Personally, I'm going to wait until DA confirms it before believing anything from Datel.
