Gaming help with psp

can anyone please help with psp. i have cfw 5.50 gen-d2. the problem his my psp wont turn on with 4gb even though it as worked before hand. i can only turn psp on with magic memory stick then switch memory cards over so i can play backups. can anyone tell me what the problem is.

Do you have a pandora battery? If so, you aren't leaving it inside are you?

when my friend first converted psp for me he made mms and pandorra battery. psp worked fine for about 12 months and i did all the updates to get on 5.50 gen d2. the only thing i have done is format my 4gb ms to a friends psp after i modded his psp then formatted it back to mine when i had finished and thats when the problem started. do you think it will be worth making the 4gb ms into a mms. any ideas would be grateful. its not a big problem as i can still play psp but like i said to load up psp i need mms and then switch cards to play games
