Homebrew Help With OS Emulator

Hi, I'm trying to make an Ubuntu emulator for DS. I want it to show the bootlogs on the bottom screen, as well as try to create an Ubuntu folder, and if you have a folder with that name, it will create a text file in the folder called exist.txt with no text, and try Ubuntu_2, if that exists it will also create exist.txt and try Ubuntu_3 then Ubuntu_4 all the way till a folder doesn't exist. Every time you boot it afterwards it will check for the text file in the location, if it exists it will try the next location. Is that possible?

But there's a DSLinux which is CL only iirc..

You could indeed let it load up a script and let it place/check a file.

But Ubuntu on a DS....
No, thats not a real possibility.

I'm with Dinoh.

The chance you will successfully complete this project are well.. pretty below zero. The DS just lacks RAM for one thing - really useful GUI-based applications will never run properly.

But feel free to experiment using above DSLinux project. If I'm correct - there even was a (very early, ofc) port of UNIX on the GBA.

The DS has no MMU, so the standard Linux kernel won't run on it.
