Hacking Help with Old 3ds Xl

Hello everyone

I collect consoles and try to crack them all, i have an old 3ds XL with B9S using luma and firmware 11.6. Last week my sd card got damaged. The console
without sd card wont boot but if i put a new blank sd card it seems to work. My question is as i dont have a backup of old sd card it is needed any file to console work properly? Its just install games again? Its safe to update to 11.7?

Download latest luma and follow this to install everything important. Then you should be good to go.
