Gaming help with kh 358/2 days

the game opens up just fine but when i press to new game and i press on beginner mode, the screen just turns black and stays like it
help?

i have an r4 with kernel 1.18 and ysmenu if its any help

You really need to read around the forum before posting dude, theres like two posts of how to make it work

Thanks to kidisnice87, This was his/her method
How to manually hex edit KH rom:

1: Google and download a program called XVI32. This is the hex editor I used.

2: Open your KH rom.

3: At the top click address, then click goto, then click hexidecimal.

4: Type 010E5DC into the box and click ok.

5: The first block should be highlighted and have 0C in it.

6: At the top click edit, click overwrite string, click hex string, in the bottom box type 37 and click ok.

7: Where it said 0C in the first box it should now say 37.

8: Click file, then click save.

9: Put the file you just saved on your flash cart and enjoy

i am not sure about this fix would help ysmenu users or not
even they could get pass the piracy bypass problem
but they might having problem on saving (correct me if i am wrong)

why I do that then during load my DSTT say ERROR CODE =-5

Change your TTDS firmware to 1.11. It's not the latest but with every other firmware I get error codes for new games. With 1.11, the only error I get is with Exit DS and that's some "unable to find save file" thing. KH 358/2 Days works with 1.11 for me.
