Hacking help with hard drive

I'm trying to play my games on the USB Loader but my hard drive always goes into sleep mode 10 minutes into the game
This makes the game freeze
Is there any way to stop my Toshiba USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive from going into sleep mode?
I looked on Toshiba.com for a manager for the hard drive but had no luck
Is there something I can install to the Wii to stop the hard drive from going into sleep mode?

Might be of some use, there is also other stuff floating about to do with HDPARM and stuff.
