Homebrew Help with gaining homebrew access

Hi there.
I recently traded in my O3DS XL for a Hyrule Edition N3DS XL on 10.7
I thought I was being clever and prepared my Oothax for it so that I could gain homebrew access (then proceed to downgrade it and all that A9LH jazz). Problem is that once I actually tried to access oothax it just instantly quit to the home menu for whatever reason.
I have tried the headache that is smashhax as well, but to no avail, (my wireless adapter doesn't seem to support it).
Is there any other way to gain homebrew access on 10.7?

I have, I'm getting the update nag, and from what I read everywhere I can't bypass it on 10.7.

It sounds interesting (no pun intended), only saw one mention of it, any thread or link on more info about it? Thank you both btw for the help.
I may consider getting a power save for oothax.
