Gaming Help with FF3.... (only beginning stuff)

When do I get access to change jobs my characters are lvl 11 and at job lvl 18 of freelancer class. When the hell am I able to change jobs.....

Also any tips, (items or jobs I should use for my characters)... I'm crap at this game.....

Just play and you'll find out when.

When you get to each crystal, you get access to new jobs. So the next set of jobs that you'll get is after reaching the Fire Crystal in the Molton Caves.

There was another thread discussing starting parties some time ago. Maybe you can get some ideas from that:

Edit: I just re-read your post, and if you can't change jobs at all yet, then you should get the first set soon (after Djinn, I think). The Fire Crystal give you the second set of jobs.
