i downloaded the current version of this emulator and im trying to play star fox command that i downloaded with emule when i open the rom the screens just stays black

can someone tell me what i should do?

Nothing, it's not a full speed emulator nor does it work with many commercial ROMs.
It's main;y for hombrew testing.
