I have the latest update, the icon is danny phantom for the loader and i want to know am I able to update from 1.3U to 1.4U or whatever it is now? I want to get the internet channel thing. Thanks in advanced.

I know that im just asking if its safe to do so. Like is it safe for me to update that and shop channel thing? Because i dont want to have to buy a new flashcart or do some weird crap to my ds just to update and use the shop channel.
