hi everyone...i know there is a wealth of info in this site and i have been reading through a lot of it. im just looking for some direction!
i have a wii w/3.2u HC rev13a i think im up to date on my IOS's as every back-up i have works, i mainly use the newest neogamma(forget the #) as my backup launcher!
what i am looking to do is get started with using a usb loader & an hdd that i can load my backups on to, and ultimately be able to run WiiFlow because it just looks amazing to me!
can someone help me understand where to start?? is it as simple as:
1. updating to rev14
2.installing waninkokos usb loader(if so what version, reading through the usb bible sticky there are so many)
3. then installing WiiFlow?
do i need to be on 4.0 or higher?

is there more to it? please help me out, i really dont wanna install anything outdated and then end up doing it all over or worse bricking! thanks in advance!

alright i read through that thanks its quite helpful, especially for the wbfs stuff and partitions!
but i still have a few questions.
1. do i need to be on 4.0 or higher
2. for wiiflow should i just update to rev14 or do i need the other cios's 222/223 as well?
3. do i need to install a usb loader and then wiiflow, or can i just install wiiflow?
thanks!!

1. no you don't
2. you don't need hermes's cios (222), but some people recommend it for better compatibility
3. wiiflow is standalone... as far as I know, all the usb loaders are
