I was following the 3ds.hacks.guide tutorial, and when I got to using Soundhax to install cfw, it said press A to continue, and then the 2ds will not power on, or, it will power on very briefly, with the white light and the blue light on, then all shut down. What did I do wrong?

There could be a problem with your "boot.firm" file on the SD card.

Try to download it again from here (you have to extract the file from the zip folder and replace the one currently in your SD card).

The "boot.firm" file must be in the root of the SD card.

Why are you putting cfw on that console? it sounds like cfw is already on it. What other problems are there with that console?

Exactly this:

White LED is boot.firm not found error - neither on SD nor on CTRNAND.
Make sure the SD is fat32 formatted and latest Luma3DS boot file is present.

Try another SD as well if it doesn't work.

Good luck and have fun!
