Hi,

I am trying to run Moonshell on the official AK firwmare (downloading Moonshell from the Acekard site), or the latest AK-IO firmware (1.3), but none are working. Moonshell does start but then freeze.

Could someone please let me know to use Moonshell on an Acekard 2.1?

Thanks!
Seb

Also:

is there a way to disable/hide the Start menu?
is there a way to start a DPG file within the Acekard software?
is there a way to speed up the listing of files using the official firmware (takes a long time each time)

Thanks!

Which start menu are you talking about? If it's the acekard menu, I think there are skins that do not show the start menu. You'll have to find one or create a skin yourself.

I don't think you can start the DPG file using the acekard itself.

If I'm not wrong, if you put alot of file in 1 folder, it takes a long time to load.
Seperate the files into multiple folders and see if it becomes faster.

I don't know about the rest of your problems through.

moonshell runs perfectly fine on the rpg and ak2/2.1 using akaio. you might be missing the moonshl folder that needs to be in root? i tried the official build off the ak website and it works fine. what i normally use tho is a build i made myself using the moonshel installer. you might want to give that a go.

Panasonic Sd formatter will very noticeably speed up your card.

Better yet, use AKAIO, I've optimized it ALOT, loading large file lists shouldn't cause lag at all, or atleast the should be very small lags. Using AKAIO and the above mentioned formatter, you should gain ALOT of speed.

What is so good about this panasonic formatter?

Can i use it on my Sandisk 8gb Class 2?

Secondly.. if so, and using Akaio 1.2, will there be any noticeable speed differences compared to before formatting (unwrapped the SDHC card and loaded the games onto it)?
