Gaming HELP! stuck on ELEBITS, on the first boss!! help please

PLEASE HELP! im stuck on elebits ds ( again! lol ) Im half way through the first boss and i cant seem to hurt it anymore, what do i do? HELP!

First half: Shoot the boss with it's own minions.
Second half: When the boss lands, attack it with Ice, then it should drop it's weapon. Smack it around with it's own giant ball weapon. It will retreat into the air again. Just keep repeating this.
