I was using cios rev14 before, but I updated to rev17 desperately when games didn't work :)

And no, there's nothing different with my system. It's a normal one that I hope someday it'll work normally.

PS: No, I'm not that Hamdi Alkan :)

What if I go back to basics, uninstall Bootmii and HBC, and hack Wii again with a different guide?

And yes, I'm that desperate. :)

Well well well...

The only thing I notice between the games that work and those that don't work are...

working ones are pretty new compared to those that don't work...

By the way could it be that sign check corrupted your cios? see here : http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=206740

I've no idea other than that...

I don't think it'll help, because my problem isn't the same with what they're experiencing.

It freaks me out, I don't know what to do...

WiiCrazy, thanks anyway for your help.

Any other help, maybe?

You can try working games and see if they are still working... maybe it's intermittent, a loose drive cable or something, yes you still need a drive for the cios to work...

many apps and channels require a dvd drive at that.

@xzxero I agree

@WiiCrazy Your inbox is full. I tried to send you a message but it didn't accept :)

Any help is still appreciated.

You may want to redump some of those games you are having issues with. USB Loader GX has issues sometimes. I ended up using Waninokos first release to dump my games and have never had any issues with that. Most of the games I dumped with the newer versions of GX never worked and had to be redumped. Good luck

Neither Bootmii nor HBC got anything to do with... If you are to do something, maybe try installing hermes's cios and try using that. Other than that

1. try a different copy of one of the games,
2. try on different media (hdd, flash disc something)
3. try with different filesystem (wbfs, fat32, ntfs)
4. try with different pc->drive game copying software

It won't worl if the original ISO is bad/corrupted.

Get another copy is the only thing I can suggest.

I'll keep trying with other ISO's.

But 8 broken ISO in a row? If it's the case, I'll consider myself so unlucky.

news flash HBC and bootmii have NOTHING to do with loading backups in the grand scheme of things. Why does everyone want to " install hbc and bootmii again" WTF

This may sound bizarre, but try it:

Use your backup loader to load an original game disc from drive. Check that it works. Quit and then try your loader again on one of your hdd backups. I've had a similar problem where the loader tries to mount from usb drive and it hangs and this has fixed the issue.

good luck. let me know if this trick happens to work

I have the problem that when I add a game one of my other copies quits working. I added The Incredible Hulk. It worked fine until I put on Wii Sports then the Hulk started to hang on black screen. I uninstalled Hulk and reinstalled it then WII Sports started to freeze. So far this only happens on older games. What gives? My newer games work fine. Got 38 & rev17 on 4.2 U. USB Loader GX revison 899 but tried newer revisions first.

I had a problem like this once ended up being i needed some of the lower ios's from ios9 to ios21 somewhere in there once i loaded an updated version the games started to work again

Ok. Now this is where the noob asks "How do u update IOS?" Have Pimp My Wii but it did nothing due to no network connection for som reason.

NUSD_13Beta is your friend that will download all the ios that you need onto your computer just tick the pack wad box on the left bottom once you have downloaded the ios's from 9 to 21 place the wad files in the "wad" folder on the root of your SD and use wadmanger 1.5 to install them

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the tips. I'm out for today, I'll be trying all of them tomorrow.

I hope one of them works.
