It says secret_sector.bin not found, BUT i have it in the a9hl folder. Any help?
redownload and reextract data input v3
and check your sd for failures using hwtest2
I redownloaded and extracted it, but still got the same error. But when I get the chance, I'll check for errors.
Look below and do
I've already done that
Shouldn't the name of the folder be a9lh?
thats what i meant, my bad.

Here's proof to show it is in the a9lh folder
Get rid of arm9.bin, arm11.bin, arm9loaderhax.bin, and secret_sector (1).bin.
arm9.bin, arm11.bin, and arm9loaderhax.bin are supposed to be on the root of your SD card. Please just read and follow the guide.
still didnt work
Show me the current contents of your a9lh folder and the root of your SD card.
i don't have my phone on me, but its the same thing as earlier expect with the files you told me to move to the root.
To be honest, I can't really help you until you get access to an actual computer and take screenshots of the current contents of your folders and SD card.
it said my files were too big so i made links
Here you go
Did you check to make sure your SD card wasn't at fault?
how would i do this using ubuntu linux
Have you been following 3ds.guide?
You can use F3 to check SD cards on Linux.
I would recommend also redownloading data_input_v3.zip and the arm9loaderhax release.7z and putting the files within those archives into your a9lh folder (I don't care if you've already done this; do it again).
i did what you said and had no errors but it still doesn't work
What do you mean? You're on 2.1, right? You load SafeA9LHInstaller via the browser, then what happens?
it just says the same thing. error secret_sector.bin not found or wrong size
