I redownloaded and extracted it, but still got the same error. But when I get the chance, I'll check for errors.

Shouldn't the name of the folder be a9lh?

    Get rid of arm9.bin, arm11.bin, arm9loaderhax.bin, and secret_sector (1).bin.

arm9.bin, arm11.bin, and arm9loaderhax.bin are supposed to be on the root of your SD card. Please just read and follow the guide.

To be honest, I can't really help you until you get access to an actual computer and take screenshots of the current contents of your folders and SD card.

    Between insane and insecure
Did you check to make sure your SD card wasn't at fault?

    Have you been following 3ds.guide?

You can use F3 to check SD cards on Linux.

I would recommend also redownloading data_input_v3.zip and the arm9loaderhax release.7z and putting the files within those archives into your a9lh folder (I don't care if you've already done this; do it again).

What do you mean? You're on 2.1, right? You load SafeA9LHInstaller via the browser, then what happens?
